Though I should note that there is some doubt about the veracity of this exact text (the DFW commencement address). According to his agent, the text that's been distributed online is unauthorized, and does not match the written text of the speech. In particular, some of the comments that read as more haunting in the wake of his suicide have perhaps been added in by parties unknown. As of the conversation I overheard with his agent, they're checking into it, since the official transcript was recently released. It's possible that these comments were extemporaneous, of course, and didn't appear in his written speech, too.
